My response to the prompt:

Titania crept closer to the human as he snored in his slumber. It was time for her to make sure he suffered. After all she had suffered for ten years before she had managed to escape the fairy slave mill. The humans had used them to generate energy for their consumption. Clean energy they called it, but most of the humans didn’t know it was stolen energy.

Toni was the hunter that had captured the fairies used for slave labour. Her kind had put their trust in him and he had used their trust to steal their lives. He had been very careful though. He was not forsaken. Although he had given his word to never hurt them, he had led them all into the same trap. He had skated a very fine line and beaten them at their own game.

She looked at him and felt admiration and hate. Tricky human. Well, now he would pay for breaking their trust. The other fairies around her started whispering the curse and she joined in.

Toni woke to find himself surrounded by small, winged creatures that were chanting. He tried to get out of his bed, but was unable to move. A strange sensation flooded his body making him feel queasy. The chanting stopped and the fairies started to leave the room with joyful giggles echoing against the walls.

He tried again to move and this time he was free, but something was different. The carpet had changed. No. Not the carpet. Him. The whole room was now massive in comparison to him. He was still sitting on the bed, but now it was a sea of white cotton.

“I don’t think you will be causing my people any more trouble. Oh, and you may want to watch out for your dog. He seems to think small means dinner.” Titania laughed as she flew over to the open window and disappeared.
