You know things are screwed up when you are trudging through the drainpipes searching for the moron that burgled a mystic arts store.
First, mystic arts stores never keep much money in their float. Second, why pick the one with a world renowned psychic for it’s owner?
It was unfortunate that that world renowned psychic was my best friend. That was the true reason I was trudging through ankle-deep water on my only day off.
I could hear a muffled cry further down the drain.
‘David? You may as well come out and face the music. Stunts like these are for kids without psychic mothers.’
